Our $18 million dollar property-wide renovation that began in February and is intended to bring Ventana Inn & Spa back to its rustic, luxurious and magical origins.
During the first phase of the renovation we closed the property Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays in order to tackle the heaviest construction without disruption to our guests. Renovation will continue through the end of the year and on some dates public areas will be closed. There will be construction on the property Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. We understand our guests are here to enjoy the meditative and tranquil environment of Ventana Inn & Spa and will do our best to keep disruptions to a minimum.
The extensive renovation project includes the following:
- Rebuilding of the Pacific House’s six suites.
- Restructuring 26 of the original guest rooms with open floor plans and expanded bathrooms, new furnishings and amenities.
- Restoring the upper Japanese Baths.
- Enhancing the landscaping, adding new gardens and outdoor living areas for future wellness programs, teaching and experiential sessions.
- Replacement of select guest room decks, private spas, foundations and wood exteriors.
- Construction of a property-wide ecologically friendly wastewater treatment plant.
- Replacing the majority of the Inn’s 33 year-old infrastructure; fresh water systems, water lines, gas lines, tanks, etc.
- Roof replacement and road maintenance.
- Refinishing and upgrading the lower Japanese Baths and clothing optional pool (completed).
Ventana Inn & Spa is truly an awe-inspiring place and we are thrilled to have been entrusted with its reawakening.
