July 11, 2008, BIG SUR, CA - Ventana Inn & Spa is currently refreshing and revitalizing after the Basin Complex Fire came within a few hundred feet of the property. The Ventana buildings were not harmed by the wildfire but landscaping and wilderness areas suffered damage in the firefighting efforts.
